Pet Policy – AKUO Coyolito

At AKUO Coyolito, we understand that pets are part of the family, and their presence can be compatible with an enjoyable vacation. For this reason, we welcome guests traveling with pets, provided the following policies are respected to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.

General Conditions

• A maximum of one (1) pet per villa is allowed.

• Only domestic dogs are accepted.

• The entry of other species such as reptiles, arachnids, birds, or any other animals is not permitted.

• The maximum allowed weight is 30 pounds (15 kg).

• Pets are allowed only in the villa area.

• Pet availability is limited.

Fees

• USD $30 per pet per stay.

• Dogs only (cats are not accepted).

Procedure

• Guests must notify the Sales Department in advance if they plan to bring a pet.

• If a guest fails to inform the property, the housekeeping team will report it immediately.

Rules of Coexistence

• Pets must be accompanied by the guest at all times.

• Pets must wear a collar and leash when in common areas.

• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets within the villa and surrounding areas.

• Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

Hygiene and Health

• The use of towels, sheets, beds, blankets, or any room linens for pets is strictly prohibited.

  • Failure to comply will result in additional charges per item used.

• Pets must comply with all health regulations required by law, be free of parasites (fleas, ticks, heartworms, etc.), and have a valid vaccination record.

• The use of hotel dishware or glassware to feed pets is not permitted.

Damages and Liability

• Guests must immediately inform the property of any special cleaning needs or material damage caused by their pet.

• Any damage caused by the pet will be assessed and charged to the guest’s account.

• Guests traveling with pets accept full responsibility for any damage to property or personal injury caused by their pet and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its administrators, owners, operators, and staff.

Behavior

• Any disturbance caused by a pet will result in a warning to the guest, who must take immediate action to resolve the situation.

• If the disturbance cannot be controlled, the pet must be removed from the villa, or the guest will be required to vacate the property, without any refunds or compensation.

Right of Admission

AKUO Coyolito reserves the right to refuse the admission of any pet if it is deemed necessary for the safety and well-being of guests.
